Our last 2 days were just as packed as the first day of our Family California Adventure. Day 2 morning was spent at Disney’s CA Adventures and again we were so excited to experience it with a Disney Imagineer (aka Sarah) to get to see her impact all over Avenger Land. We had a good time riding rides and checking out all the sites, of course Gage went back over to Disney for a while to spend more time in Galaxy’s Edge, but we all rallied after lunch and headed to the beach! We had planned to drive from Huntington Beach down the Pacific Coast Hwy to show Gage & Madison where Phil grew up and spent so much time but we were thrilled when we got there and the Pacific Coast Air Show was going on, so we quickly parked and headed to the beach to watch F22 & F35’s fly over – we also took a moment to let Madison get into the Pacific Ocean for the first time – Brrrr!!! Then off to Balboa and the Fun Zone which much to Phil’s dismay, the place of his childhood was not quite the same but we made time for giant margaritas, frozen bananas and fun! Our evening was filled with family game night back at the house and I am not sure any of us have laughed that hard. Day 3 we were off to Santa Anita Race track where Phil’s had reserved us a couple of boxes. We were all excited to watch the races and try our hand at betting, which suprisingly went well and no one lost and everyone seemed to be break even or winning! Our last night was dinner and then bed to get up and head home the next day. How grateful we are to have this time with our wonderful kids! We are so proud of all of them and it is so much fun to hang out with them as adults. Until next time…..
