It seems so “bougie” to fly to a town for one night just to see a concert, but when you put some of our fave artists at one of our favorite venues and you happen to have some points…you go! As usual we took the shuttle to Red Rock, you can have drinks on the bus, not worry about parking and relax! We sat next to this great couple who had been married for 43 years and had met at UC, they had been coming to concerts here since the 70s and had lots of stories. The show kicked off with Keb Mo and he brought out an old friend he grew up with in LA who played Sax. As usual Keb did not disappoint. When Al Green came out he was playing with the Denver Symphony and he was ready to go! Unfortunately poor ole Al had not adjusted to singing at that altitude combined with his age and weight it was tough to watch. He sang a few songs, hit some of those unbelievable notes but at the end of the day he needed to rest between choruses and his backup singers did a lot of filling in. Still it was great to see a legion. Flight home the next day with no issue! We love our life #blessed
