Tour Day Vienna Austria

Today we had a private tour with our guide Elena where we learned a ton about the history of Vienna as well as the Hapsburgs who ruled for 650 years until 1918.  We visited the State Opera house, the Sacher Cafe,
The Stables of Lipizzaner which Phil really loved!  Unfortunately we could not get to get tickets to see a show while we were here.  The Hofburg, the Parliament and City Hall.
We also toured the  Golden Quarter of Vienna, saw the black plague column which every town seems to have built begging God to save the people.  Finally we wrapped up with St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Little Medieval Streets of Vienna where Mozart found his way home.  After a nap we finished up our day at a very American bar and restaurant to watch the Canadian F1 race!  Tomorrow off to the oldest zoo in the world!
