Well we woke up this morning in Oberamergau and the weather forecast was not in our favor. We took a quick stroll around town, grabbed some breakfast and found the gift I had been looking for, for Hudsons arrival in Sept. We then drove a little out of town while the sun was still shining and jumped on a chair lift up the mountain to rode this Alpine Coaster back down- what fun!!! I was happy we had our own brakes so I could slow myself down if I got going to fast.
We then jumped in our car to start the trek back to Zurich for our evening flight…we just love the countryside here and even stopped at a cute little restaurant to get our first schnitzel and spaetzle..so good! In exploring what was on our way to Zurich we found out about the Rhein Falls which happen to be the largest water falls in Europe…so of course, we took a detour and are so glad we took the time to check it out. So much water, so much power..
We are now flying to London for an over night heading home tomorrow. What an amazing trip…we are so so grateful and blessed to be able to travel this way.
