We took dinner in our stateroom fr Phil’s birthday and our butler Uros did right by weilding a Saber to open the champagne bottle off of the boat! We had heirloom tomato salad, caviar and a NYStrip along with veal cheek (new for both of us and tasted like a very rich roast). Then special birthday cake and ice cream along some great wine! Then we enjoyed sitting on our balcony to watch the German cities roll by….it wasquite the day of celebrating my favorite guy!

Your pictures are amazing! What a great way to spend Phil’s birthday. Just a little family history. Our great-grandfather on Grandma O’s side (so Grandma Owens’ dad) was born in Oberowisheim, Germany in 1880, which is about 30 km from Heidelberg.
