Our final private tour day before boarding our cruise was spent seeing the 2nd smallest country in the world, Monaco and visiting the French hillside village of Eze. Once again we were surrounded by yachts and the life styles of the rich and famous as we strolled along the rampart over looking at the harbor. We walked on the hill past the castle of the principality and into the church where Grace Kelly was both married and buried. We wrapped up our time in Monte Carlo by visiting the famous casino and even our driver drove the full length of the course for the Monaco Grand Prix which our course Phil and I loved!
The 2nd half of our morning was spent in Eze which is a lovely hill top town where most of what we saw was from around the 15th century. While there were lots of people we were able to find some beautiful little side streets to explore & shop. Robin went to the local perfumery and got some of the best smelling perfume! Both places today were beautiful and we loved our visits.
The final part of our day was spent on a beautiful cruiser on the Mediterranean. The owner of our AirBnB owns the boat and leases it out along with a captain. We spent 4 beautiful hours swimming and seeing this coastline from the water. The day could not have been more perfect until a slipped on the boat and sprained my knee pretty badly. I have never been a graceful one but could have done without the injury as we are boarding our cruise the next day! Ces La vie, as they say here in France!

If you two buy a home or better yet a yatch with a helipad, the family could come and visit you for the holidays. Now isn’t that just a wonderful idea. It does look beautiful.
